This 4-hour virtual training is designed for technicians involved with the testing of protective relays. This training will discuss the theory of electromechanical relays followed by a step-by-step procedure for testing all functions of an electromechanical overcurrent relays. The test plan creation will be done using Doble testing software Protection Suite. In the process of creating the tests, an excellent overview of the testing software will also be included.

• A brief overview of Doble test set F6150.
• Description of the relay, its components, and theory.
• Create tests for minimum pickup of time overcurrent, timing test, instantaneous pickup, and target test.
