Overview
This course deals with advanced testing involving communication assisted protection, analysis of even reports, COMTRADE and ss1 files, line current differential relays, bus differential protection testing. Out-of-step testing concept will be presented. Each testing section will be preceded by the theory on related relaying.
This course is intended for the following audience:
- Senior level technicians who are involved with testing of electro-mechanical/microprocessor relays
- Technicians who wish to enhance their knowledge of reading event reports, complex relaying, advanced testing techniques, end-to-end testing, out-of-step relaying, bus differential and line current differential.
